The Idiom Magazine is a free underground magazine with poetry, short fiction, and essays. The Idiom publishes a wide variety of both local and international writers. Selections from the literary blog Walking English are published in each issue. Past issues have included Michael Madsen, the Dalai Lama, Maria Mazzioti Gillan, and Laura Boss.

*The Idiom Magazine can usually be found at Tuesday Nites SpeakEasy at The Annex in Asbury Park. Workshop beforehand with Joshua Ballard at 7 and stay for the open mic at 9 with Chris Rockwell

 

*We are still waiting to hear back from the Brooklyn Book Festival to see if we have a table reserved for PHP and The Idiom. If not we'll still be representing with free copies in September to all the hipsters.....

 

*We're also very excited for the upcoming Dodge Poetry Festival! Some of our poets applied this year to read and we're very excited to hear if anything comes from that....if not free idioms will scatter the newark lawn once again.....
